BILLY REID DEMONSTRATES HONESTY AND INTEGRITY

Thirteen members of the Teen Golf Association (TGA), a newly formed group within our Chapter, scheduled a community service day on Saturday April 14th and participated in a walk for autism awareness this past weekend. TGA member, Billy Reid, came upon what he thought was a one-hundred-dollar bill. It turned out to be much more. He found $1,500.00 in the sand! The TGA decided to look for the rightful owner. After this attempt was unsuccessful they found a police officer, told the story and turned in the money. At The First Tee, students are taught our Nine Core Values, including Honesty and Integrity. Billy’s adventure was featured on the nightly news.
