The BallenIsles Charities Foundation (BICF) was established with the goal of “Making a Difference” to local not-for-profit organizations in areas surrounding their residential community located in Palm Beach Gardens.
In their 9th year, BICF recently conducted their annual fundraising event for the grant distributions, including a one-day golf tournament over 36-holes at BallenIsles. Chapter students hit shots on the par 3s and interacted with the members.
“It is always a pleasure for the members to meet the First Tee students,” said Marsha Funk, Chapter Director and BallenIsles resident. “They enjoy meeting the beneficiaries of our foundation and talking with the students.”
BICF generously awarded $26,000.00 to support the students of our Chapter. This year was their largest gift to our Chapter.
